See Naples and die is a famous proverb which means something like "once one has seen this city one can die peacefully, since nothing else can match its beauty". The totally unexpected touristic boom which Naples is facing during last years seems to confirm the starting quote. Actually public services do not work, crime is always there, people do not have a job or if they have it it's at miserable conditions, but none notice it distracted by pizzas, sfogliatella, neapolitan folklore, lot of religion events, warm sun and the sea. With my pictures I wanted to represent this surreal paradox, the constant and real feeling that something evil is hidden beyond the ephimeral beauty, putting aside the usual stereotypes about Naples and postcard shots.
